Hulu Pride Never Stops Influencer Campaign


For Hulu's Pride Never Stops campaign, influencers served as social media hosts for the LA & NY Pride Parades, driving awareness in real time to Hulu's livestream, through off-the-cuff interviews and Q&As with Hulu talent on IG Stories and TikTok.

Overview

Hulu partnered with DMM on a custom influencer campaign to amplify the Pride Never Stops campaign, securing iconic queer storytellers Plastique Tiara and Eric Sedeno to act as social media hosts at LA and NY Pride, driving awareness to the livestream of the events on Hulu. In addition to the event content, we onboarded additional top tier creators to share their favorite LGBTQIA+ programming on Hulu.

Strategy

DMM partnered with buzzy LGBTQIA+ social media stars Plastique Tiara (Of Ru Paul’s Drag Race fame) and Eric Sedeno (Known on TikTok as @ThickyRicky) to drive awareness towards Hulu’s livestream of the LA & NY Pride Parades. Both influencers attended the parade and shared live updates on their social channels, interviewing attendees and Hulu talent.

To drive tune-in to the portfolio of LGBTQIA+ centered content on Hulu, and stoke conversation around Hulu’s wide selection of shows and movies available for streaming, DMM secured additional top tier influencer talent to share their favorite Hulu shows in relatable and authentic video content.

Results

In total, the 4 influencers, with a combined social reach of 37.4M followers, posted 42 pieces of content resulting in 7.8M impressions, 393K engagements, and a 5% engagement rate.
