Virtual Game Show: Netflix’s Fuller House Couples Trivia

Ideating and creating a large-scale Trivia Game Show featuring the cast of Fuller House for the final farewell season.

DMM partnered with Netflix to ideate and create a Trivia Game Show for the final farewell season of Fuller House.

The campaign leveraged unique video pieces to give Fannerinos a place to celebrate with their favorite cast members to say farewell to Fuller House. The goal was to create a large-scale activation featuring the entire cast to streamline talent participation while in quarantine, including Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Adam Hagenbuch, Soni Nicole Bringas, John Brotherton, and Michael Campion. With the goals of safety, quality and entertainment in mind, DMM supported on all ends from ideation to execution to distribution, including creating the Run of Show, scripting, producing the trivia game show with the cast (including three different Zoom shoots while still making it appear the entire cast was together at one time), designing and editing the piece, and ultimately publishing and posting it on the Fuller House Facebook and IGTV accounts. The trivia activation embraced the deep nostalgia associated with the series finale, which resulted in high engagement and buzz-worthy content around the series premiere.

Fannerinos are ravenous for new Fuller House-related content. For the major activation this season, they were ecstatic to see the cast reunited together to play the Nearlywed Game-inspired trivia which garnered 330K total views on Facebook and Instagram. When sourcing fan questions for the game, they were more than eager to participate — we had 2.8K total fan submissions.  Having an activation that involved most of the cast really excited fans, specifically creating an opportunity for them to connect with the cast despite quarantine, which made them feel like they are truly a part of the Fuller family.
