OBJECTIVE
To produce this livestream from the ground up, the DMM production team sourced our own crew and gear including a Sony FX3, a cinema lens, and a portable wifi box to ensure we had the strongest, most reliable internet connection at The Hollywood Palladium. We owned ideation, directing, and scripting 13 pages’ worth of questions and games for talent. We were ready for anything this dynamic cast could throw our way!
For our host, we created branded note cards to read off during the event, along with an in-ear piece so we could communicate from the sidelines This allowed us to keep him clued into what fans were saying in the comments, protect the brand image, give him usernames to shoutout during lulls, and we were even able to play a fun trivia game and give him the usernames of those who got the question right.
We also worked closely with Bravo’s Public Relations teams to ensure the pacing flowed smoothly on the carpet, including having our producers there to communicate to our Technical Directing team and cue in graphics. Additionally, we collaborated with our Creative Team to prepare lower third graphics for our host and created live show elements like, “Next Interview Starting Soon!” along with title cards and end cards to toss up whenever there was a lull in talent arriving at the carpet. This allowed us to keep viewers interested in the livestream even when we didn’t have talent to talk to and made it feel more like a full, live show experience.
