Overview

DMM partnered with Lionsgate for a social capture day at DMM Studios for The Strangers: Chapter 1, featuring movie leads Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez. DMM’s production team owned all aspects of production including: sourcing crew, running on set logistics, overseeing the set build, and expertly managing the schedule.

OBJECTIVE

We built a fully custom cabin to serve as the backdrop for filming to create an in-world environment. With detailed set dressings and stylized lighting, we turned our stage into a real cabin in the woods.

With a goal to maximize the amount of footage captured in a day and turn around content for multi-platform distribution, our team worked diligently on aspect-ratio filming plans to ensure full shot coverage while maintaining the set tone and feel.

RESULTS

DMM and Lionsgate’s successful shoot resulted in 14 pieces of content including a variety of captured pieces using a combination of a 3-camera set-up and phones for TikTok concepts.
