Fantasmas


HBO enlisted DMM to execute a social campaign for their new show, Fantasmas! Starring, created and written by Julio Torres, it featured an all-star guest cast roster featuring: Alexa Demie, Ziwe, Julia Fox, Bowen Yang, Kim Petras, Natasha Lyonne, Emma Stone (also an EP), and so many more.

Overview

In collaboration with HBO, Digital Media Management launched a strategic and talent-focused social media campaign for Fantasmas. We executed a robust social toolkit strategy to support the star-studded cast and provided them with customized toolkits to streamline communication and support the series throughout the campaign. We were tasked with executing the clipping strategy for assets to be included in talent toolkits and develop/maintain a robust toolkit sending schedule to align with the client’s needs. DMM worked cross-functionally to align with our Platform and Creative Team counterparts to execute the title’s clipping needs.

Results

The Talent Services team distributed 200+ social toolkits from pre-premiere to the finale, generating 365+ posts from the main cast and guest stars that drove 38.7M+ estimated impressions, 458K engagements, and  7.8M+ views. Julio Torres led the cast with 145 total posts, posting week after week and heavily supporting this project. We helped coordinate Instagram collab posts with Julio weekly and guest talent like Natasha Lyonne and twice with Aidy Bryant (who hadn’t posted on social since February 2024).

The Fantasmas social media campaign successfully drove awareness for the title, increased engagement on talent handles, and maintained social media buzz throughout the campaign.
