Overview

WWE is hotter than ever and Digital Media Management is USA Network’s ultimate tag team partner! Over the last 4 years, we’ve continued our partnership in supporting WWE programming on USA Network and Premium Live Events on Peacock. With USA having been the home of WWE’s two flagship shows, Raw and SmackDown, our teams have created an engaging, fan-forward social media campaign to build community with new and existing wrestling fans alike. Our team took the reins in leading strategy, executing an exemplary community management approach and creating compelling, eye-catching social creatives. For every show and PLE, our live production team produces real-time clips and GIFs to enhance our weekly live coverage. For select PLEs, we also provide talent ideation, on the ground live capture support, and day-of talent content management.

WEEKLY LIVE COVERAGE

Every Monday, our team brought Raw to life on social, focusing on creating a hub for fans to come together and talk about what was happening on screen. With our strong community management approach, real-time copywriting, and live clipping and GIFing, we delivered an experience for fans that they couldn’t get anywhere else.

When SmackDown returned to USA Network, our team crafted and executed a comprehensive strategy to maximize impact. We developed tailored content plans and fresh creative approaches that seamlessly integrated SmackDown into the WWE on USA community, while also taking on the challenge of two weekly live shows on the network. We ensured SmackDown’s homecoming felt authentic and energizing for the WWE Universe with our fan-first approach – after all, we’re fans too!

LIVE + YOUTUBE CLIPPING

To drive engagement and viewership for all things WWE, our team provided live clipping & GIF support for the weekly shows and for the WWE on USA YouTube channel. On average, our team captured 50+ GIFs per episode and quickly captured key moments during live broadcasts to fuel fan engagement across platforms.

PREMIUM LIVE EVENTS

Our team crafted high-energy, fan-first social campaigns around WWE’s biggest Premium Live Events, always putting the WWE Universe and its Superstars at the forefront. For each event, our teams produced 50+ pieces of dynamic social creatives to support efforts both before and after the shows. Our team of WWE experts delivered hours of real-time copywriting, publishing, and video clipping, with a special focus on community management, further strengthening our connection with fans.

In addition to USA Network’s coverage of PLEs, we worked alongside the team at Peacock to provide live creative support. For each event, our team delivered clips and elevated social content that was geared towards appealing to a broader audience.

To support our partnership with Peacock, we provided on-the-ground coverage at both WrestleMania 41 and SummerSlam. Our talent embed captured live content for Peacock’s social channels, in addition to providing talent ideation and social support for Law & Order: Organized Crime’s Dean Norris. 

RESULTS

Another great year under our belt in our partnership with USA Network with the addition of SmackDown, in addition to some truly iconic PLEs. Quarter over quarter, we saw a 101% increase in video views, a 93% increase in engagements, and we increased our overall impressions by 68%. Thanks to our team of WWE experts across multiple capabilities at DMM, we’re excited to continue our journey in the world of WWE and deliver the ultimate fan service.
