Sr. Static Graphic Designer/Art Director

The Sr. Static Graphic Designer/Art Director is responsible for all facets of their creative vertical (Theatrical, Brand), and helps to lead and oversee the team of Motion Designers and Graphic Designers working on their projects. This individual designs and guides the creative look and feel of graphic assets for all projects in their assigned vertical. We are looking for someone with at least 5-7 years of experience, and Social Media Agency experience is required.

Responsibilities

? Works with the managerial staff, project managers, and supervisors

?Oversees the creative team directly under them to make sure design goals are aligned

?Exhibits ownership and pride in completed design tasks

?Participates in the performance review process and offers guidance to junior designers

? Manage appointed creative team members, and guide them as they create assets inside their creative vertical, and navigate through issues that arise

?Partners with Creative Director in making hiring decisions and resolving performance issues
?Expand and recruit the team based on need, strategize areas of expansion

? Helps lead creatives for new project proposals within their vertical

  • Sets up onboarding for new projects in partnership with Managers and pertinent designers
  • Communicates with clients during briefs and presentations, when applicable
  • Acts a client resource and provides solutions for design- related issues
  • Partners with Social Media Managers and Creative Director on client calls and asks
  • Solves any and all design problems independently or with the help of the Creative Director
  • Acts as a buffer between managers and designers, ensuring design work has been approved before going to client
  • Consistently identifies and implements process improvements
  • Sets the quality bar within the team, and ensure that all creative assets meet or exceed standard
  • Highlight key creative pieces at the end of campaigns to use for creative case studies or monthly newsletter
