We greatly enjoyed working on the Coen brothers' Hail, Caesar! Campaign with Universal. The Facebook following increased by 159% from the start of the campaign to over 130k. The Twitter page grew by an impressive 400% to 3,600 followers. We discovered early on that fans responded enthusiastically to the original GIF content we created, specifically featuring fan favorite characters such as Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, and George Clooney.
Our objective was to create unique, highly engaging content tailored towards the Coen Brothers fan base to highlight the comedy and ensemble cast through highly shareable graphic, GIF, and video content.
To emphasize the quirky comedy style of the Coen brothers, we honed in on the comedic moments of the film and created engaging and sharable looping videos and GIFs, which proved to be incredibly successful and amassed a cumulative reach of 1,553,269 over the course of the campaign. In addition, we also utilized stills from the film and posted them to across socials towards release date to boost engagement and highlight the large ensemble cast. During the campaign, we gained an average weekly reach of 142,013 Organic and 1,486,095 Paid.
