Mark Ruffalo Raises $180,000 for Water Defense: How We Help Actors Raise Money For Their Charities

Digital Media Management recently partnered up with client, Mark Ruffalo to raise funds for Water Defense, a non profit organization co-founded by Mark dedicated to clean water. Our team of Digital Managers created a digital strategy to engage fans and encourage support by sharing exclusive behind the scenes set photos and interacting with fans on social media. In exchange for making a small donation, users were entered to win a trip to the London set of Avengers: Age of Ultron to spend the day with Mark. A total of $180,000 was raised for Water Defense in just 3 weeks!

Introducing our newest editorial website, Tenth+Fourth, where creativity meets commerce meets everything cool.

Dancer, actor, and tech-enthusiast, Harry Shum Jr. came to Digital Media Management with a desire to engage with his audience and share his favorite things. We worked with Harry to mold his vision into the full-blown editorial destination, Tenth+Fourth.

The Digital Media Management team partnered with Harry to design and develop the website and brand, conceptualize the editorial strategy, and to build the brand's social media and business development strategy.

Over her four-decade career, Kathie Lee has grown from a well-known television personality to an author, playwright, singer/songwriter, and philanthropist. Kathie Lee came to Digital Media Management with a desire to reach out to her followers and build an online community in preparation for the launch of her own wine label, GIFFT.

With the help of the Digital Media Management team, Kathie Lee’s vision for her digital footprint is becoming a reality. Our team of social media experts and web strategists constructed a successful design and strategy that captured her passions and hard work.

The Body Department With Shawn Johnson Reaches Young Women with an Important Message about Fitness

Digital Media Management is proud to kick off 2014 with the launch of our latest editorial website, The Body Department with Shawn Johnson.

Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson came to Digital Media Management with a powerful vision to help teach young women to feel good about their bodies. Shawn's passion for fitness and connecting with women, combined with Digital Media Management's creative vision, and brand-building expertise led to the creation of TheBodyDepartment.com. It's a fun and safe fitness website for young women to find and share fitness tips, recipes, and stories.

Launched in January 2014--just in time for New Year's Resolution season--TBD features health and wellness content from contributors and experts including healthy recipes, workout guides, fitness playlists, and #Fitspiration (a hashtag dedicated to the site's sharing-friendly inspirational images). Leading up to the site's launch, Digital Media Management's team of social media managers strategized and executed a countdown campaign which tapped into Shawn's large following across her social media platforms. Getting Women Talking With Amanda de Cadenet

Amanda de Cadenet, host of The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenent on Lifetime, has built her brand around creating meaningful conversations with women. While her TV show focuses on influential ladies including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga, The Conversation's web presence has become a platform that gives women from all walks of life a voice.

If you subscribe to Elizabeth Banks on YouTube, you'll be treated to regular episodes of Really Important Questions, a comedy series where Elizabeth Banks answers her fans' questions. Warning: things get serious.

Digital Media Management's content and production teams worked with Elizabeth to ideate the concept, produce the video shoots, and manage the distribution and marketing of the final product.

Connecting fans to Best Selling Author Marisha Pessl

Night Film, a novel by Marisha Pessl has been the book of choice for dozens of book clubs since it's August 2013 release. This November, Digital Media Management facilitated a live chat with the New York Times Best Selling Author and That's Normal, a blog that selected Night Film for their Goodreads digital book club this Fall.

Digital Media Management utilized Google Hangout to connect Marisha and her readers around the world in real time and later published the full length video on Marisha's website. This encouraged fans who were unable to participate to check back and see if their submitted questions had been answered!

Catching Fire Premiere Social Media Management

The U.S. premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was a star-studded bash -- and Digital Media Management was there to capture every pivotal moment across social media. Working with Lionsgate on the social media campaign for the movie, our theatrical social media management team proudly joined Lionsgate on November 18, 2013, and set up a social media newsroom nearby to monitor social platforms and mentions from talent and brands, and provided live red carpet social media coverage across the franchise's official social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram. As Catching Fire's spirited aficionado Effie Trinket would say, it was "a big, big, big day!"

From the lavish red carpet itself, adorned with celebrities, camera crews and enthusiastic fans, to the social media newsroom, with laptops, wi-fi, cast tip sheets and previously prepared social copy (including talent @handles and hashtags) at the ready, Digital Media Management's social media team captured and live-tweeted all big red carpet moments! Our social media team snapped and shared photographs of celebrity arrivals, including Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, and the Girl on Fire herself, Jennifer Lawrence. The social media team also utilized features unique to each platform, including embedded links on Facebook and Google+, which directed fans to online live stream coverage, and Instagram video, which provided fans at home an enticing glimpse of real time red carpet footage.
