  • We are seeking a Director of Video Content to lead our talented video team in planning, shooting and producing content. We need someone who can evolve with the changing media environment, lead the creation of high-quality videos and oversee day-to-day operations of our video team. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking and creativity to our team.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Review incoming external opportunities as well as requests from internal teams requiring video production
    • Oversee all aspects of video production (pre to post)
    • Be responsible for quality control and delivery of a high-quality product
    • Oversee and implement the constant changes that occur in this area of business
    • Develop and adhere to a streamlined review process with all stakeholders involved
    • Oversee video team and buckets (Originals, Branded, Live, etc)

     

    Requirements:

    • Video production experience in the digital space (web series, social videos, social trailers, etc)
    • Experience producing Live video productions across various social platforms
    • Experience managing a crew at multiple levels of productions
    • Strong writing, editing and production skills
    • Experience with client-facing email, phone calls and creating proposals / briefs to sell a particular vision
    • Knowledge of online video space and producing for different platforms (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube, etc)

     

    A plus if you have experience with sound, shooting and editing as well, as this will be a lean team at times.
